The National Directorate of Public Procurement is an institution that over the last few years has expressly declared its commitment to sustainable development, in this sense it has initiated the process of measuring, reporting and offsetting in total the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emitted during the organization and development of the XVIII Conference of the Inter-American Network of Government Procurement. 

The commitment of the DNCP is to offset the carbon emissions released during the organization, execution and closing of the congress, thus obtaining the category of "100% Carbon Neutral Event" through the issuance of the International Declaration of Carbon Neutral Event granted by the 100% Carbon Neutral®.https://100carbonneutral.com/) which operates from Costa Rica for all of Latin America.
